The heart of Indigenous Initiatives Cultural Competency Training is a Relationship built on the concept of Trust, Friendship, and Mutual Respect.

Our Mission

Indigenous Initiatives, founded by Sherry Saevil, is deeply rooted in Indigenous values and wisdoms and built on a foundation of Indigenous ways of knowing and being. Facilitating a vision for the future that everyone can agree on; building a shared framework for measuring progress towards that change; and improving relationships, collaboration and communication to better implement our intentions.

“It begins with a vision of reconciliation and measuring all that we do against whether it will allow us to meet that vision.”

– Senator Murray Sinclair, Chief Commissioner of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission
